Invoice 'get shipments' blank?

another thought is possibly her group date is a later date then the shipments and she needs to update the group date to today's date.

FOR INVOICING is selected

Hello everyone,

I searched thru the yahoo site for possible similar problems but did not as
of yet find any.

Up until a few days ago this did not happen, now it does.

ver 6

Problem:

while in the invoice entry screen the ar/ap lady here usually uses 'get
shipments' function to retrieve shipped goods so she can generate invoices
.....

when she does it now there is nothing listed ( I have tried this on other
systems/names with the same blank results)
what can cause this now , seeing as how just a few days ago all worked fine?
is it some silly checkbox that I am unable to find because I am too newbish
to find it?

any pointers would be appreciated,

Did you verify that the packing slips are checked "ready to invoice"?

Make sure once packing slip is printed and system asks ok to ship you
answer yes this will put them in the shipped ready to be invoiced file.
Double check and look to see if all packing slips your not getting for
invoicing, if their in the pending shipment file - pull all up and check
the shipped box located top right and then pull across for invoicing.

Double check the Invoice Date entered in the invoice group. "Get
Shipments" will only pull packing slips dated equal to or less than
the invoice date. So if she entered a date in the past you would not
get any packing slips pulled in.

Check relevant customers where a shipment has been made > customer
maintenance > billing folder and review what settings there are for
invoicing. Sometimes people set them to only specific days of the week
by accident.

Is the invoice group referencing an old fiscal period? I would suggest
creating a new invoice group and seeing if the shipments arrive then.
