Inventory/WIP Recon Report bug

Hi all,
We're on 904.506C and I tested this report. It took over 12 minutes to
run the report(month of Oct), and job entry and job tracker took over 30
sec to start up(usually about 10 sec) while the report was running.

We're running 9.04.505B, and there's an acknowledged bug that's giving us fits. It is supposed to be fixed in Patch 507 (due out Real Soon Now), but I'd like to see if anyone here has also been bitten and has discovered a workaround.

Printing the Inventory/WIP Recon report for any date range longer than a few days slows the system down tremendously, and eventually hangs it entirely (booting everyone out and requiring a reboot of the server). Epicor support has an SCR (79090), but we can't be the only ones affected here. Anyone else having this issue, and if so can you tell me how you're living with it?
