We were in talks with an epicor rep who had us all excited for the Epicor Mobile Wireless Warehouse features that we so desperately needed. After the epicor rep dropped the ball and got back to us a month after our meeting, we are “no longer allowed to use EMWW with 10.1 because as of Sept it is on sustaining support”. So now we cant use EMWW unless we go through the painful process of an epicor upgrade, which we are not doing right now.
ANYWAY, has someone come across a solid handheld solution that would allow our warehouse manager to do the following:
- scan/enter in received shipments. This way the on hand qty is live and is not waiting on him to enter the data in later in the day.
- scan/enter in the issuing of material to different departments?
- Can Managers of different departments still use the Material Queue within MES to request material? Or is that solely a Kinetic feature?
