Trying to locate and if possible retreive parts lost in inspection processing transaction.
We had 3 inventory nonconfomances created for the same part. All were passed in inspection processing. One of the NCRs looks good with a STK-INS and INS-STK transaction. The other 2 have STK-INS and INS-ASM transactions. The problem is that there are no jobs for these to go to. Where should I look to find these parts and how do I get them back into inventory? If these were nonconformed again ‘Inventory’ then they won’t go back against a job, once processed via Inspection Processing they’ll appear back in the Inventory location.
Are you sure the other two were nonconformed against Inventory?
I can’t seem to see the screenshot of the Part Transaction History, can you send it over & I’ll try and help locate.
Part tran history shows STK-INS and INS-ASm transactions. INS-ASm shows blank in the job field. I created BAQs agianst the Non conformance table, the Part Tran table and the Job Material table to try to find a clue and have not been able to locate anything helpful. I did get the transaction numbers from the Nonconformance table but not sure how they might help. PartTranHist ER2216G01 20231012.xlsx (10.7 KB)
I’m stumped, the only thing I could suggest is running the below part specific. I’m guessing you’ve already looked in Lot Tracker against that part/lot number on the transaction to see if it sources the job?
Thank you. Yes, checked lot tracker. I ran the Refresh Part Bin QOH from Part Tran Process and nothing changed. Thanks for taking a look at it. I opened an EpicCare ticket. We shall see what they come up with.
