Inventory management at company-level

Hi Epicor users!

My company will soon be opening a new plant, which will be configured as a new site in Epicor, as it is a six-hour drive away from our original plant and will manufacture its own different products.

Our procurement team would be looking to manage some materials’ inventories at the company-level, meaning they would have a minimum for the two sites combined, and not care whether that inventory is entirely in either of the two sites - they would be satisfied with the fact the company, as a whole, has inventory above a certain amount.

What would be the best way to manage this? The objectif being that they receive appropriate purchase/transfer order suggestions when the inventory falls below the company-wide minimum.
