Intercompany Process dropping records

We have several companies set up in our Epicor configuration and they all ship and receive to each other via the intercompany process. We have noticed over the last year a significantly increasing number of items are shipping and never show up to be received. Sometimes they are found in the integrated table workbench as possibly hung up, although after working with support, they can’t determine why. Other times they don’t show up anywhere at all.

Support isn’t very helpful as we can’t reproduce on demand and it doesn’t happen all the time. Also by the time the S&R team let me know its most likely over a week later which makes it hard for anyone to dig into.

I’m wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if there was anything that you found to help solve it. It just feels like the intercompany process has some glitches that lose data in the process but I have not way to show that and our teams are getting increasingly frustrated.
