Has anyone in the Epicor world managed to get parts that are marked as “inspection required” that are “manufactured” at a Part Master level pushed into Inspection Processing … without the advanced modules…
I presumed that the field on the part master would do something… it seems to do nothing?

The easy solution, is to have an operation called inspection, or you could nonconform them all
I’m not 100% sure, but I believe that inspection field is only for PO reciepts, so purchased parts.
That’s what my testing has shown. When a Group or Part says ‘Inspection Required’ and that Part is on a PO, the receipt is marked as Insp Req and goes in the Inspection Processing queue. I haven’t seen anything else happen when a Part is marked Inspection Required.
