Information Worker (9.05), fully backing up its configuration?

If anyone's interested I got the answer to this question from a consultant at an Epicor partner, Epicor themselves have not bothered to reply to my EpicWeb support ticket.

On a 64 bit Windows server the XML that comprises an Info Worker configuration resides under...

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Epicor Software Corporation\Information Worker\9.05.700\Configuration Files\Custom Configurations


... and has a unique number that matches that of the configurations ID.

We've just had Information Worker (9.05) installed, what a disappointing mess of a product, but I have to work with it and I'd like to start customising it. Does anyone here know how to backup its configuration as I'd like to ensure I have a reliable means of restoring any complicated Configurations I create ?.

I've come across the configuration.xml file under the web servers folder, however this is only the current deployed configuration and not all configurations you may be working on.
