Income Statement

You can specify whatever months or combination of months you want.
You set it up in the columns. Epicor can send you instructions on
how to create quarterly totals, ytd totals or just see by month.

I'm not too familiar with the financial report writer. Can you make a report that shows the periods up to the current period?

For example, for our Sales and Revenue, I want to see a column for each month from January to August.

Is this possible?

Thanks,
Jasper

These reports are based on GL accounts, but you could do it depending on
how the GL was set up.

Financial Report writer is not the easiest thing to use, but once you
get the hang of it it its ok.

Located under General Ledger --> Setup (or master files in 6.1)

The Monthly part might be tricky...because one would normally filter by
period on these reports. There might be a way to get around it.

Jasper,

You can do that but it is designed in an offset manner...meaning that you
have period-1, period-2 and so on.

In other words you will not get the headers to show January, February, etc.
It will be current month and the relating offset periods that you configure.

Ross

Typically when we have reports that we want to see the YTD numbers, I
run it with the fiscal period as being 12 and everything falls into the
correct month.
