In a BAQ, I can't seem to sort or filter on a Calculated field

If you are going to use the BAQ in a dashboard you can always set you
filter / sort in the dashboard instead. I've used this as a workaround
a couple of times.

Good Day:

In a BAQ, I can't seem to sort or filter on a Calculated field.

Is that a system limitation? Calculaiton was picking off the first
two characters of a field: substring(CustID,1,2)

Sun is Going to: Epicor 9, 9.05.601B SQL-Unidata (go live date is
12/1/10)
Sun Is currently on M2K (Manage-2000) 7.0 SP 5 (Informix)
