Improper hours when job is scanned in data collection at midnig

I have contacted vantage support. Apparently this is a problem
without a solution. If an employee starts to enter info before
midnight then finishes after midnight is give the wrong times. I was
hoping this would be fixed in 5.2. If anyone happens to try this in
5.2 please let me know! Thanks

Has anyone else run into this? One of our employees scanned a job at
exactly midnight (00:00) and clocked out of it at (3:00) so there
should have been 3 hours on his labor. Instead it charged 19.6 hours
to his time and placed an idle time of 3 hours. Can anyone explain
this?
