Immediate Run Request Schedule settings

While updating the schedules that run at a specific time of day, (for end of Day Light Saving), by tweaking the Next Run date and time, I noticed the Immediate Run Request schedule has a Next Run setting of about a week out.

First off, is the Immediate Run Request schedule the one used by the Now schedule?

And what should the settings be in System Agent Maintenance? Mine is as shown below.

Daily with no days selected seems odd, and probably why the Next Run value always seems to be a week from the last time it was run.

Wouldn’t the Schedule Type Interval (with a 5 second setting), make more sense?

interesting… i just checked mine and i don’t have an immediate request run in mt schedules…and none hung in immediate run request.

I’m with @Kimberley. We don’t have an Immediate schedule in ours, and our on-demand reports are running as expected. Do you have any tasks scheduled under Immediate Run Request?

Hmmm … When I run a report with the schedule “Now” selected, I see the following in the System Monitor’s Scheduled Tasks tab:

Note that the upper line (a previously scheduled task) has a Schedule# and Description that match what is in the System Agent.

While the report submitted with schedule Now has a matching description, but the Sched#'s don’t match.

I’ve disabled the “Run Immediate Request”, and the Now scheduled reports still run.

Must have been something I was testing Or though I needed way beck when I first setup E10.
