Wondering how others who use Intercompany is handling this in 10.2 or older versions.
Our sister company in Shanghai builds all of our parts for us. They will also drop ship material to customers on their side of the world for us. But ICPO will not let me change the address on the PO and have it actually translate in the Shanghai company in Epicor.
Did I set up something wrong, or does this functionality not work for Intercompany?
I have a client on E9 that wanted this same functionality and the response from Epicor was that it was not supported and at that time it was not on the books to be added. Not sure if it made it into the 10.2 level.
The customer side can use the drop ship sales order and PO features.
But these do not flow through to the sales order created on the supplier side. So the end user address needs to be entered manually as a one time ship to address to match the PO details.
If someone else has a better method I would love to hear it also.
Hello…I wanted to see if any of your parts are serialized? we are testing IC trading and everything works great except the serial numbers on drop shipments are not coming over. Like you, we have a sister company in Asia that builds our products and sends them directly to our customer. We create a drop ship sales order and drop ship PO (from that sales order) to our sister company that converts it into a sales orders with the original customer as the ship to address.
When that order ships, IC trading auto creates a drop shipment on our side but it doesn’t bring over the serial numbers. trying to find out if Epicor just doesn’t support serial number info on drop shipments or if we have something set up wrong.
