Sometimes we will have sample jobs and we will issue material to the job but then the samples on the job (make to stock) I know we can’t delete it once there is material issued to it but how do i close it without giving us a WIP to variance cost? I was changing the make to stock to zero then closing it. but now we have transactions on our INV WIP reconcilation that say Phantom Purge WIP to Vaiance.
The costs HAVE to go somewhere. Where do you want them to go?
Did you return materials to inventory first?
