We’re looking at integrating Hubspot CRM to Kinetic. I was wondering if anyone else here is using Hubspot CRM, and how your integration experience went. We finalized HubSpot as the CRM solution last year, but are struggling with the integration partners they’ve recommended.
We’re on our 2nd integration partner, and now a few months down the road, they’ve pushed the responsibility for sorting out the Epicor integration back on us (they want to limit the scope to do the HubSpot workflows & end user training).
Has anyone done this with an integration partner that took the lead, or was it DIY via REST or Azure/AWS authentication? Any sage words of wisdom?
I’ve done this before we used REST on both sides. @Waffqle_De_LaCroix (with Six S Partners) I know did it too the same way. So maybe give them a shot? #NotSponsoredPlug
Works fine though and its pretty simple.
@josecgomez - Thanks! Did the customer or you guys (SixS/@Waffqle_De_LaCroix ) handle all the mapping and workflows too on the Hubspot side too? Or did a Hubspot consultant handle that side? We figured someone who knows both well would be up to speed a lot faster.
Six S Handled all the mapping you just have to tell them what you want your flow to look like. I know for a fact they’ve done this integration several times before so they know Hub Spot.
sorry for the necroposting… (nice one Jose)
But just got a response from sixsPartners (Jason Hindle) and confirmed to me they no longer offer HubSpot integrations.
Pierre, We’re 3 months into implementing with the third partner, and I’m estimating 60 days out from having it ready for training the masses and finally acceptance. Not everything is perfect, but it’s workable. We’ll see how it goes in real life.
For Kinetic → Hubspot, we’re pushing Customer, Contact, and Quote updates to an Azure messaging queue, which Hubspot consumes. And Hubspot → Kinetic, it’s just going through the REST API to create new customers, contacts, and quote headers.
