How would I change the language of EPICOR

We opened up a site in Mexico and want to be able to change the language to Spanish for MES…is that possible.

If you purchase the Spanish language pack, yes.

Not even if I install the WIN OS in Spanish?

Also saw in the Config file there is a Culture Code set to ENU…anyone know what codes I can put in there.

Nope. You need the language pack. The Culture Codes determine your decimals, comma, etc. in numbers.

English/US: 1,000.00
German/Germany: 1.000,00

Anyone use Language Packs and can you tell me how they are deployed. I would like to deploy only to certain MES users. Speaking to the CAM already, but they arent usually helpful when it comes to installation and deployment. Quote a nice price tag.

Off the top of my head, you go to:

EpicWeb and download the language purchased

Then go to

System Management | System Maintenance | Language Maintenance

And import the Translations

We set the language by user, so if you have a user assigned for your MES logins, use that user ID for Spanish. That should do it. I haven’t tried it with MES yet but I think it’s the same process.
