How to write in a custom datafield from QuoteHed & OrderHed?

Hi experts,
I am new here and also new with Epicor…

I have a UD string text field in QuoteHed, but this text should also be displayed in OrderHed and should be editable there too.

So I am looking for a way to edit the same information from QuoteHed & OrderHed.

I tried to let both graphical additional text boxes point to the same datasource field, but that did not work (maybe because the connection is missing to link a certain Quote to an Order)?

After that, I started reading and digging into that…

Than I tried to use a BAQ to connect Quote to Order via OrderDtl and pull the Info from the additional text field in Quote to feed it into Order.

Then I created a new dataview from the BAQ results

I put the EP binding to that BAQ result

and put an event to trigger the filling of the custom field
Hence I could not find a good trigger I tried “AfterRefesh”…

But the info from Quote is not pupulated to Order…

What am I doing wrong?

I would be looking to do this as a BPM rather than a form customization
