In our process we issue different parts to arrive at a finished product.
These parts form a mixture, at the time of production, we have a result of a mixture of the materials that we use which we can use for another job in another product, what we recover is not the same as what we emit, it is a mixture and therefore a different part to what we issue.
You have two raw materials that make a finished product. But there is a mixed by product that you can capture and reuse as a raw material in a second different finished product.
I think what you want to look in to is the Salvage part functionality. It lets you save off left over raw material from a job as a different part number.
I have tried to use job receipt to salvage but there are times when it does not let me recover the amount that I have produced from recovery.
You know how it works?
Thank you very much for your answer
The cost of the new part you’re trying to salvage cannot be more than the component part on the job from which you’re salvaging.
Say you have part “A” in as component in a job which cost $100. But now you want to salvage part “B” from the component “A”. The cost of part “B” cannot be more than part “A”. 3
At least this is where i have seen issues before with the part salvage functionality.
