How to Prevent a Quote From Being Converted to an Order Multiple Times

I noticed that Epicor 10 allows you to convert a quote to an order multiple times. Is there a way to prevent this out of the box? If not, what other options do I have?

A BPM can check if that quote is on any Order and error if it is.

I was hoping to avoid having to do that, but if that’s the best way, then so be it.
