Does anyone know if epicor allows linking an RMA with a job? I know that it does not automatically generate a job, but by doing the job manually it can be linked to an RMA, or how do the guarantees that apply to a client work but are not billed again?
If the RMA will result in a return of the same part to the customer, then first open a sales order and reference the RMA on the new sales order line. Then release the job, making to order. Finally, disposition the RMA to the job for rework. You now have all the links you need (OrderDtl to OrderRel, OrderRel to JobProd, JobProd to JobHead).
