I know there are a few other posts similar to this as I have tried to use them to solve my issue and I think that they are part of the solution but I am missing a few steps leading up to where the solution is given.
I have created a BAQ and want it e-mailed on a regular schedule every day. From BAQ creation how do I go about having it e-mail on a schedule.
I am on 10.2.700 if that helps.
The easiest way IMO without code is to use SSRS report routing. Do you have that capability?
In layman’s terms, you will need to create a schedule in Task Agent and setup a BAQ Report.
How do you want the BAQ to be formatted? PDF? Excel? I can assist with the PDF version.
In a nutshell, I created a BAQ report that referenced the BAQ. Then some light formatting in Report Style will get you a neatly formatted PDF report. When satisfied, you will Test Print the BAQ Report, change the Schedule to your previously created schedule. Then check the Recurring box. Instead of hitting print preview at the top of the dialog, you’ll click the Email button. Then fill in the recipients and the body.

Do what Dan said if you don’t need to route it based on groups in the report or some filter.
If you just want to send the full result set via email, do what Dan said. You can even change the output format from PDF to Excel if you would like it in excel instead.
How do I test print the BAQ Report?
Go to your BAQ report in BAQ report maintenance or whatever it is called and then I think under actions there is an option to test it.
Ah, that is where I was getting lost. Its under actions “Preview Classic (or Kinetic) Form” which was what was throwing me off.

I always forget that different versions might look and feel different. I pay attention to Kinetic/11 because I know I won’t be able to help. But I see the 10.2 and I’m all about that. I guess in 700 things were starting to Kinetify.
