How do you change font of text on a button in C# on an Epicor Fo

I figured out what my problem was. If you go to customization then properties on the button then go to UseAppStyling it has to be set to false or the appstyling will overwrite the font setting once there you can simply change the font properties from the properties screen or though code like my post above.

I am trying to change the text size of text on a custom button on an epicor form but the code I am using does not seem to work or is overwritten by epicor some how.
This is the code I am using to try to change the button font size

button1.Font = new Font(button1.Font.FontFamily, 36);

the code works on a form I have in visio studio but not in epicor.

Has anyone ever seen this or know how to change the font size on a button on a form in Epicor?
