High credit balance

Sorry if I still think in terms of Report Builder but Crystal will do any of this as well (or better). My approach in RB would be a running total at each date and then qualifying a formula field for this total on the date range desired (if in-date-range use it if not set to zero) and then do a MAX aggregate type function on these qualified date running totals to find the highest amount. The running total being made up of the sum of invoice detail amounts minus payments up to that date with no reset at the date level.

We are going live on Vantage 8.03 next month. Does anyone have a good
way of getting the highest credit balance for a customer out of
Vantage? A common request in the credit industry is what is the
highest credit balance in the last six months. How can I find that in
Vantage, since the credit amount is constantly changing?
