Some quick notes from Perspectives....email is acting pretty sketchy here at the shared terminals so can't elaborate a lot but...
1. Everything is 8.0 oriented. Lots of really good info. Most notable is CR 10 special Epicor edition thru Epicor. It WILL run CR reports for users from Vantage menus without user's needing CR license. In a lab I added a report to a 8.0 menu. I'm told the clients will have the .dlls to run them - only hitch still (they are working on it) is sysprogress username/password deal.
2. 26 people showed up for the Vantage Yahoogroup meeting. It was really nice to meet some of the Yahoo groupies in person. Most of the discousion was about the Epicor User Group and the possiblility of them doing the email listserv - but this group is so strong already and Vantage local groups are pretty strong there is less need for the national group. Time will tell how this evolves and what the benefits of joining EUG would be (versus the cost for dues too).
