Lots of good info out there. A great place to start. Keep in mind you might not be able to get it all out of Epicor but if it’s important it’s important.

Subject: [Vantage] GM Dashboards

We have been on several versions of Epicor dating back over 20 years.  Until recently, we didn't have much for valuable information within the system so we didn't provide any dashboards for the President or GM.  Basically they waited for the monthly financials or asked the controller for any numbers they needed.

With our reimplementation of Epicor 10, we have much more pertinent data that we can provide but since they aren't used to seeing the information they aren't asking for anything and tell us it isn't needed.

We want to put together some very visual dashboards, preferably web based to get them started and hopefully it will grow to match their needs.

What key performance indicators are your GMs and other managers using?  We are an engineer to order shop with large, long lead-time jobs.
