We are starting to use global parts and have a handful of them between our two companies in the system. It seems that the parts that are flagged as ‘Global’ are not running in MRP. Is there something we are missing? Other parts are running fine. (Note I am not an expert in MRP).

Do all parts in the method of a global part have to be global as well?
Global parts still need to be checked that they have all the necessary settings in each individual company they are in, particularly if the ‘parent’ company is only the ‘owner’ on some of the part table fields.
Is the ‘Process MRP’ box selected on the Sites tab?
You will need to ensure an appropriate method is defined within each company as well if the parts are set as manufactured in both companies - those are not shared between global records.
