GL vs Aged Payable variance

Hello Everyone,

Need some help. I want to fix a variance I found between our General Ledger and Aged Payable Report. The difference are 2 checks the were voided late last year + early this year respectively. Is there a way to fix this is in the system? For more context, our GL (A/P Acct) is showing that it’s higher than the Aged A/P report. From my experience, I have never had to submit a JE to fix a discrepancy between an aged report vs GL acct.

Update:
Our Fix - I worked with my A/P person and they missed a step. I am not sure of the steps/module they used, but the A/P amounts for the 2 voided checks needed to be cleared against our supplier’s account. Once that was done, it decreased the ageing list/report by the amount we were off by. They now match. :slight_smile:
