Looks like the formatting of that little table didn't make it through
the email. Let me try again:

Live Training Test Pilot

Progress Database 9400 9410 9420 9430

System App Server 9401 9411 9421 9431

Process App Server 9402 9412 9422 9432

Task App Server 9403 9413 9423 9433

I just did a recent clean install of 9.05.600C using an MSSQL database.
I couldn't find a summary anywhere, so I wrote down the port numbers
from PET. Hope this helps.

closer - still need a bit more guidance if you can.

I need to compare this one with the ports in the progress explorer. But
there are multiple app servers for each database, each with their own
port (there are 4 total ports for pilot alone - 16+ ports in all). There
are also two fields within Epicor to enter these port numbers. I need to
know which app server port number (from the 4+ total) goes into which of
each of the two fields in System mgmt > system utils > system agents

In addition to what Mark W. said:
Is the username and password you are using in system agent correct?
Are the ports in system agent correct for the DB you are using?

Are ALL three appServers running? In the System Agent, make sure that
they're pointing to the correct servers/ports.

Do you have the most recent Crystal Run-time installed?

The appserver URIs are in the format: appDC://servername:port

In my System Agent Maintenance, my training env "Task AppServer -
AppServer URL" is" AppServerDC://localhost:9413", and "System AppServer
- AppServer URL" is "AppServerDC://localhost:9411". I think attachments
are blocked, so contact me off-list if a few screenshots would help.
