Can anyone help with a workaround to the following issue please?
Currently, there are 1000+ new demand requirements in our Fulfilment Workbench.
I select all and click ‘Reserve and Release for Picking’. The process is completed and the system reserves all available stock.
When our warehouse guys look at the material queue, all of these items are showing in the queue. However, when they try to complete a pick for a job material, no lots are available to select.
Upon investigation, I found the lots on hand are at a different revision to the job material. E.g. Part ‘XX123’ is listed on the job at Rev ‘01’ but the lot is at ‘02’.
We do track our parts by revision. However, I don’t understand why the system would reserve and release stock for picking, only to block the user from picking that same stock? Support have responded that this is by ‘design’??
Has anyone found a way around this? Thanks very much.
