With the sunset of Classic UI coming in a year I’d like to focus on gaps with Kinetic so we can present Epicor with a consolidated Idea list. Please post any gaps you have or know about.
- Kinetic Field Help not complete compared to Classic
- Standalone Kinetic Personalization Maintenance/Purge
- Detailed Error Messages in the user interface
- Multi-select in Kinetic grids
- ‘Boring edition’ upgrade - 2026.1 should put a big focus on closing the Kinetic gaps from Classic as it’s the one killing off Classic. I know that “new” is sexier and sells better at Insights and public events
- Add Functions to Kinetic BAQ Designer like Classic
- Improve Change Log and tracking deletions and filters
- BAQ Designer: allow typing of field names in criteria
- Design SSRS should display the error msg like Classic

A handful of ideas I have submitted:
Data Collection / MES (Shop Floor) – Make login UI more prominent and touch friendly
Fold main menu into application studio
Allow Edge Agent To Print Local Attachments.
Make the QuoteHed and QuoteDtl Void field actually do something
Fulfilment Workbench Search takes atrocious amount of screen space

Wrapping Grid Column Headers
Justify Columns Controls in Dashboards
Column Width based on Data Type
BAQ Grid Personalizing
Add the ability to customize and apply multiple filters in grids.
A few Kinetic grid fixes would be beneficial, especially for new users to Kinetic to visualize data quickly and clearly.
