I have done a negative receipt from manufacturing and it works

Is there a reason for not shipping it from stock?

I guess you could try to do a negative receipt from manufacturing. I have
never done this. I recommend you try it in the test db first.

Question:

We removed a top-level assembly from a job using receipts
from MFG, we wanted accountability in our finished goods stock. Now
though we want to issue it back to the same job. The problem is that
vantage will not let you issue top-level assemblies. What other
options are available to me to get this unit back on the job, with
all associated cost, so we can ship it against that job number.
