Faxing and Emailing

Hi Jenny,
We have purchased APM for Vantage 8 and have tried to implement it. At
the time of the first installation APM was full of bugs and did not
work correctly so we are waiting for the bugs to be fixed.
The bugs that we encountered may not affect you because we are an
Australian company and we use A4 layout size. I think A4 was the only
setting that didn't work.
Apparently this bug has been fixed in version 2.4 so we are about to
try again.

Cheers,
Jason Abramczyk,
Precision Parts.

We use APM to email Electronic Payment Remittances and PO's to suppliers. We do not fax because you have to have a fax server. We find that we can email what we need, and that is cheaper than faxing.
One problem with APM is after major patch releases, you have to reset the form definitions. APM also has to run on a seperate server, and needs an email server to send email requests to.
There currently is a bug in the supplier maintenance screen that will not allow you to enter a supplier email address. Has been broken since release 8.03.304, and still don't know when it will be fixed.
