Is there any way to export the financial reports (specifically the INCOME STATEMENT) from 8.03 so I can use it 9.05?  This will be a major problem for us to recreate and we noticed on our first pass upgrade that the Financial report “setups” we made in 8.03 did not come over into 9.05.  Any direction???

There's no way to export and import in the financial report designer. They wouldn't convert with the database so I had to recreate the financial statements in E9. I didn't see anything in the user group or on EpicWeb that gave another solution.

I found that the segment values that should have been in segment1 and segment3 got put in segment11 and segment13 – otherwise they converted enough to run….

 

I created a BPM to move the data to the correct fields and ran it at 9.05.702 on our way to E10

Bernie, thanks.  Yes it looks like just the “ending” segments are screwed up on our financial reports.  Strange why Epicor didn’t catch this and fix it.

I tried to report it but was told those reports would not convert and they needed to be re-entered….

I asked why the program tried to convert them and was told I had to re-enter by hand

So I just fixed the bad data created by the conversion and went on my way
