I have a test application server (10.2.400) on which I am playing with active home page. I have created an assortment of EDD views and I know how to move them from one EDD database to another. The question is, is there some way to take the active home page that I’ve configured on my test application server and add it to my real application server (or my next test application server - 10.2.500) when I’m ready? I already lost it once (when I overwrote the test application server db ) and it was a pain to recreate it. If I have to do it again, at least this time I will have it up in my test application server to copy from. It seems like it would be really nice if I could just export it and import it. Maybe I’m missing it, but I don’t see any sort of management of active home pages (other than assigning them to people).
I’m just going to use as my excuse that I have a cold. I was only looking further down in the publishing area.
Thanks!
BTW - conceptually, this is great. I get spots for all my EDD charts. Sadly, none of them connect until I go edit them. I get the message “Discover View with id:{guid} not found”. Epcior tech support explained to me earlier that each EDD database is unique, so I’m probably not surprised.
