We are using an rds farm for Epicor and have decided to not install Excel on the farm to save on costs, and push users to use Excel on their local machine. If a user decided to “Print preview” a report but with the excel format selected, is there a place in the system we can grab the excel file so the user could copy it to their local machine and open it?

That causes Excel on your local machine to open with the data generated (and stored) on the App server?
I would have thought that would still try to launch Excel on the App server (or wherever the Client is running)
Copy to excel is grayed out when Excel is not installed. Also if excel is not installed it will not auto pop up. They will be instructed to go to the system monitor and save the report, which gives them an excel file to copy down and run on their local machine
