We have noticed that in Method Tracker, when looking at a parts operation detail in “List” view, it will not calculate/show any “estimated prod hours” to calculate to less than .01 hours. For example, we have a part operation set at 2000 pieces/hour which calculates to .0005 hours to run 1 of these parts. However, it shows .01 hours in method tracker list view. Now the strange thing is, if we look at the same part operation detail when used on a JOB, in the job details, it calculates the estimated prod time CORRECTLY at .0005 hours per piece for that operation. The issue we have is we are using the EstProdHours database field from the PartOpr table in some reports for calculating prodcution time which we now know is not correct. We have looked at SEVERAL parts and the .01 issue remains on all of them regardless of what the pieces/hour is set to as long as it calculates to less than .01 hours. If it goes over .01 hours, it displays the correct EstProdHours value. It is NOT an rounding issue. Does anyone know if Epicor has a fix for this?
