Error running Epicor client first time

We have a third party that will be accessing our Epicor servers in Azure from PCs connected through a ZScaler tunnel. We’ve installed the Epicor client from the front end server, however when we try to run the client as an Administrator on the PC we get the follwoing error:

I’m not a sys admin, first time we’re trying this scenario. Anyone have an idea why this isn’t working?

We are having the same issue after upgrading to 11.2.300 . Though this is only happening on one of our servers. Did you manage to figure this one out?

Welcome to the cmmunity, @Alex_Bryan ! Since this was a system outside our domain, we switched to using a Virtual Desktop for them to get around the issue. Epicor Support should be able to help you with this since you’re on the newest version.

Try to install the latest version of .Net Framework and check.

Try deleting any folders located within:

%appdata%\..\Local\Epicor
%appdata%\..\Roaming\Microsoft\CLR Security Config
%AllUsersProfile%\Epicor

https://epiccare.epicor.com/epiccare?id=epiccare_kb_article&sys_id=a9ce72741bc761d0ca66eb13b24bcbad

If that doesn’t work, try Uninstalling .NET Framework and Installing it again, do not use the Repair option.

It should work fine with ZScaler, it all depends if you use ZPA VPN and have the IPs whitelisted, or you just use ZScaler.
