Error in Admin console connecting to App Server 10.1.400

Thanks for leading me in the right direction.  There was an authentication error generating in the event viewer which let me to the Application pools in IIS.  I ended up re configuring the authentication method to successfully connect to the application pool.

Finally installed a test server APP SERVER 10.1.400 with DB on remote server in a clustered system with Hyper-V.   These machines are running Windows 2012R2 with SQL SRV 2014.


Now after successfully deploying and starting the APP SERVER, an error message is generated as follows:

Not Connected.


Application Server version has not been verified. Review the Error Message below to troubleshoot your connection issue. It may indicate you need to manually install a newer version of the Administration Console to connect or that it is not supported.


Error Message:

The requested service, 'net.tcp://epicor-app-a.example.local/ERP101400/Ice/BO/UserFile.svc' could not be activated. See the server's diagnostic trace logs for more information.


END>>


Any help would be greatly appreciated.  This is a clean install.  All prerequisites pass.

Look in event viewer and see further info on the errorÂ
