ERP10: Change and adjust Parts and Lots

Not sure if I am missing or overlooking something (probably
the case).  We are new to Epicor and
going live soon on version 10.  Is there
a way to do the below, if so how?


  • Change  a part number – take a part and downgrade or
    re-brand it

    • Example:
      part abc needs to be xyz

  • Change a lot number – not the quantity but
    assign a new lot

    • Example:
      Lot 123 should have been 1234

  • Adjust the quantity – we are average lot cost

    • Example:
      in MES the user issued the correct material QTY but received only 5 and it should
      have been 50

      • Want
        to take the total cost ($100) of the 5 that have a unit cost of $20 and
        redistribute and correct the quantity

      • It
        should have been total cost of $100 for the 50 so it would have a unit cost of
        $2

 

I know I can create a new Job and go through the motions of
issuing material and mfg receipts and this will correct all of the above, but
wasn’t sure if there was another way.
