The EPICOR Application/Systems Administrator will be responsible for the
setup, configuration and management of the servers located in the USA, The
Netherlands, China and Thailand used for the EPICOR ERP system. The EPICOR
Application/Systems Administrator will work with the IT Network Engineer, IT
team and business partners throughout the organization to develop and
implement features to support the EPICOR ERP System being implemented.
We will look for someone who has EPICOR experience AND one or more of the
following skills.
We will look for someone who has EPICOR experience AND one or more of the
following skills:
. 4+ years Network / Systems Administration
. 2+ years SQL 2008 R2
. 1+ years VMWARE 4.1/5.0
. 2+ years Windows 2008 R2
. Web Services
. 3+ years supporting systems and applications as part of a team
environment.
. SSRS and SSIS experience
. Understanding of SharePoint 2010
. Wireless scanners and Thermal Printers experience a plus
. Experience with manufacturing industry strongly preferred
. Excellent overall communication skills, especially when explaining and
sharing technical requirements and information with end-users.
. Experience with ERP systems a plus.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
. Gather business requirements, business process flows in designing and
preparing new systems/solutions. Define modifications to existing systems in
order to meet internal and external user requirements.
. Perform analysis on business problems and requirements to determine source
and develop options/alternatives. Make recommendations among alternatives.
Implement recommendations, or coordinates with others when assigned.
. Coordinate and/or conduct acceptance testing.
. Create and update technical and functional documentation.
. Write technical documentation and support documentation for the delivered
application components.
. Support and maintain existing base of software, including implementation
of fixes and enhancements.
. Work with IT staff to configure, implement and support production by
investigating and resolving defects.
Work with other IT groups to manage production code releases and
troubleshoot production issues.
