Epicor on the Cloud, Report Server

For the companies that have Epicor on the cloud, and you are trying to modify a report with report builder.
When you open the report, Report Builder tries to connect to the Report Server…

What is the name of the serve you connect to?

Our Cloud operations team sent out an email with information on the changes with SSRS reporting when they upgraded to 10.1.400. If you open a Support call and request this, we can send you a copy of the communication with the links to the videos that go through this process as it relates to users of our Cloud offering.

I did open a call.
They sent me a link to a video… the video, shows you how to export and
import a report, make changes to it… etc.
However, when it was time to connect to a server, they clicked on cancel.
To preview the report, they saved it, uploaded into Epicor and ran it from
there.

The video did not show how to preview the report in Report Builder.

You wouldn’t be able to preview the report within report builder.

You’d have to make your changes to the report, save it, reimport the RDL through Report Styles and print preview within the Epicor client.

Mr. Jason is correct - if you are SaaS Multi Tennant. You cannot preview in report builder. it’s download, modify, upload, test. KInd of awkward - but it beats the old way, download, modify, email crystal report to Epicor requesting they copy it to the server, then test (the copy portion could take days in some cases).

It is much better now,

If you are “hosted” then you should have a server to connect up to.
