A user is receiving this error: Workstation not available. Please choose another workstation or contact your system administrator. Is this a simple restart for Epicor server?
Did you try and restart epicor first?
Is there another person already using that workstation?
With quick ship (newer version of manifest) I believe you can only have one person logged into a workstation at a time.
I believe she was the only person using her computer at the time. She had also mentioned this has been going on for the last week.
Is this in a web browser or part of the epicor client?
Which Insite Manifest version are you on?
We are using 5.2.0 Manifest
I believe this is part of the Epicor client. It has its own window not related to the browser.
Correct. If someone is already in the workstation and you try to use it you get a message like this:
Is there a way to terminate all sessions of Manifest so we can test this on the users computer?
Daniel, I have no idea. You can call epicor support, do you know their number?
Do you know if they charge per call or per hour.
1-888-epicor9 is the phone number.
I don’t know what your support contract is. You can ask your CAM about that. If you have active or sustaining support then phone calls to their support it is included in your contract.
You can find your customer account manager (CAM) by logging into epiccare.
Not sure. Good question for support.
I’m waiting for my Epiccare account to be authorized… I just called them 2 days ago.
Don’t be afraid to call and ask them to try to do it sooner or put more pressure on them. You may have to do this for future cases as well.
Well they said I would be waiting on the owner of our Epicor account to approve me. I’ll have to follow up with him first.
