Epicor free test

Is there a site where I can use Epicor for testing. Where I can login and create BAQs and Dashboards?

Nope.
The only way to get a demo environment is to buy the product.

No. If you own a license you can deploy as many on-prem environments as you want. If you’re a cloud customer I think you have to pay for them.

If you pay for Embedded Education Module, you get an Education Database in the Cloud. Unfortunately, it is Multi-Tenant the last time I checked, so you cannot do code in BPMs, Configurator, etc.

you basically have three choices to gain access to the Epicor platform:

  1. customer
1a. Get hired by a customer of Epicors as an employee
1b. work as a consultant for an Epicor customer
1c. convince your employer to purchase Epicor.
  2. partner:
2a. work for or become a partner of Epicor’s
  3. Employment:
3a Become an employee of Epicor’s (if you are a consultant or sales engineer, you have access to all modules all the time.

Personally, I started out as an employee of a company who purchased epicor software to run its business… I went through the training, and ran the project to implement. about 18 months later, I was hired by Epicor Tech Support, and then moved to Consulting, and now to Product Management. Epicor is a great company to work for.

The morally black option 4…

Even as a “White Hat” ??

Edit

I guess it would be more of a Gary Gray Hat, as White Hats have the owners permission.
Gray Hats hacks with good intentions but at times without permission.

Possibly to hide defects from prospects so they don’t realize they will have to hire a bunch of consultants after they buy it

I don’t think most prospects would even have the wherewithal to understand the ERP system and its “defects” from a demo database.

this is not a dig on Epicor.* Every system has “defects.”

going by the current headhunting level, you could easily get a part time ERP support gig and earn enough trust to play with the system. This is <cough>not</cough> official permission for anyone so connected to me to play
