I have Three Views for my Dashboard (See Pics). The Freight Category (Pie Chart) and the Costs By Month are from the same BAQ. The Costs by Supplier are from another BAQ.
Each View has Fiscal Year and Fiscal Month Year as a Dimension and is placed in the View Filter Pane.
What little documentation I could find says that I should be able to Share the Fiscal Year and Fiscal Month Year dimensions and control all three views with one set of filters. However, the Properties window on the Dashboard indicates that there are no Shared Dimensions with any of the Views.
What I get are two sets of filters. The Top set controls Costs by Suppliers and the Bottom set controls the other two views. Does anyone know what i am missing here?
I checked the underlying BAQ’s to make certain that the formats for Fiscal Year (both Int) and Year-Month (both NVarChar) were the same between BAQ’s.
