Hello,
This might sound odd, but I have a friend (no really, this is for a friend) that wants to register for one of the Epicor certifications, but does not want her current employer to know this. She has the Guide so she knows which courses to review prior to taking the exam. She can not “assign” the courses to herself, evidently that is a function of the Epicweb Admin at her company.
Anyone know what happens on the backend in Epicweb when a person registers for an exam? Does it show up for the Epicweb Admin to see? She plans to pay for the exam with her personal credit card, so no charge to the company. She also plans to leave her company when she gets her certification.
@karihagedorn would know. I remember this being only for partners, not 100% sure on this. I also recall the tests and courses having a cost, which is paid for by the company.
Today’s Epicor Certification program is only available to Epicor Channel Partners and Epicor employees today. These program guides are historical content we are working to archive and are not relevant for the latest Kinetic functionality. Epicor Learning is exploring program designs and improving tooling that would support a customer certification program in the future. I would encourage you to vote on the existing Epicor Idea for customer certifications so you can stay up to date with the latest developments.
I work for a partner, and I can tell you straight up that if you COULD take the exams, whoever administers your ELC access WILL be able to see the results. Depending on other settings, it is also possible that anyone else in your company with ELC access may also be able to see the results.
