Epicor 905.606.A AP Conversion issue

We use a Conversion factor of Roll to feet (1 Roll x 1000 = 1000 Feet). Purchase in Roll, inventoried in Feet. The item is received and inventoried correct and the Unit Material Cost is correct. In the General Ledger, it's taking the conversion and multiplying by 1000)to come up with $1,700,000.  I was told there might be a fix to this,, does anyone know of one?  Â
Thank you in advance,
Jacqueline

I have a report that shows all materials that have been issued to a job. The report uses the parttran records. However, most of our material is issued using an MES console and the parttran record only reflects the User (which is the station name) and not the employee that was using the station. Anyone have a way of tracking back to the employee who performed the transaction?

Do you have employees attached to individual user logins?

We do not for the production employees, only for the office workers who actually use the main client. The funny thing is MES requires both a user and an employee ID number to perform transactions. It ought to be available somewhere to know what Employee ID perform the transaction.

We ended up giving people in the stockroom their own login. We started
with a generic stockroom login but, could tell who was making the material
transaction.

It was be nice if Epicor was consistent. When you log onto a labor
transaction via MES - it records the employee. When doing a material
transaction - it takes the login of the person who initially logged into MES
- example Stockroom.

That is exactly the issue. I can build a customization to record it, but want to make sure Epicor is being inconsistent and it is not just me missing the data.

I have found this problem here where I am working now and the last place I worked (both used Epicor or Vantage).
I just finished filling call 3101922ESC with Epicor and I was told that short of another enhancement request (not a bug) they cannot find any other reports of this issue.

If you are current on your Maintenance, please report this, apparently they are not aware that this is a problem and it's driving my Inventory & Production folks nuts since they do not have a good audit trail.

SCR 93962
Job Receipt to Inventory - PartTran table is not updated in the EmpID
field, if Mfgreceipt (HH and MES) is performed by employee.

We use 905.606.A and I have a call in for that exact problem. Both for the HH and MES. Â
I was told I'd be notified when the enhancement/ BUG will be fixed, that was 6 + months ago.
