Epicor 9 "Solution Manager" - cannot "Build Solution" - is graye

HI Mike, 

 

Check in your user account for the permission for "Can Create Solutions" and "Can Install Solutions."  This gave me a fit when I tried to do it and assumed a Security Manager would be able to do everything, but it's a separate set of permission checkboxes in User Options.

I am trying to use the “Solution Manager” in Epicor 9 to backup all of my customizations and Dashboards and other things.  I have all of them “selected” but I cannot “build” the solution from the actions menu.  No matter what I do, it stays grayed out.  Does anyone know what is going on.  I definitely have items selected so I know that’s not the issue….
