Our problem was identified by querying the CustXPrt table.
The quotes in my case.... were just where they had been getting entered.
Bruce, it doesn’t appear to be an “order #†issue. If we select a “different†customer with the same part in question, it works. Or if I keep the correct customer, but “clear†the “customer Part #â€, it works and lets us enter the line. It just doesn’t work if the customer AND customer part are correct… Any idea??

Subject: [Vantage] Re: Epicor 9 can't enter new order line - error "Customer Part SX-5105 already has a reference to 60315-A2"
I had something like this happen
- from CustPartNum's on quotes
-- I don't know of any fix... we just had to fiddle with the quote record(s) to clear the error.
--- users "just know" how to work around it now
