Epicor 9 can't enter new order line - error "Customer Part SX-51

Yes, what Sarah said,
Our problem was identified by querying the CustXPrt table.
The quotes in my case.... were just where they had been getting entered.
On some parts, we get an error similar to below which references that a "customer part xxxxx already has a reference to xxxxx". It will NOT let us enter the sales order line. Why is this happening and is there a solution to get around it????

I had something like this happen
- from CustPartNum's on quotes
-- I don't know of any fix...  we just had to fiddle with the quote record(s) to clear the error.
--- users "just know" how to work around it now

Bruce, it doesn’t appear to be an “order #” issue.  If we select a “different” customer with the same part in question, it works.  Or if I keep the correct customer, but “clear” the “customer Part #”, it works and lets us enter the line.  It just doesn’t work if the customer AND customer part are correct…  Any idea??

Did you already check the customer part table and see if that customer part# is already linked to a different one of your parts? that's what it sounds like based on the message.
