We did EAS for serialized ( no decimals ) , and EAP for partial Eaches ( use a fraction of the EA per assembly ) and EA for normal items which can have decimal on hand quantities like rolls, and liquids.

Subject: [Vantage] Epicor 9.05 - Cannot allow decimals in UOM "Each" setup because it throws error that cannot allow decimals on serial tracked parts - How to get around????
We are trying to figure out how to allow for “partial” (i.e. decimals) on a UOM (Each) in Epicor 9.05. In Inspection processing and labor entry, we need to be able to nonconform or scrap a “portion” of a total part, not the whole part. These type parts are setup as EACH but we cannot turn on the “allow” decimals in UOM “EACH” setup because it throws an error that says “Decimals cannot be allowed on serial tracked parts”. What would be a best practice to get around this. I’m sure we are not the only company that needs to nonconform or scrap partial parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards
