Before you DMT the Standard Cost, I would do a compare between Last Cost and your current standard, just in case there might be some big surprises.

Using DMT you can do an update using the data from a BAQ that pulls from partcost
If you set the column headings on the BAQ to be the field name and have a calculated value for you reason code you can just run an export and use the file for the DMT with no editing
